Josh celebrated his birthday this weekend. We were so excited to surprise him with a Wii. He had no idea, had not even asked for it (because he knew it was expensive). He is such a great kid and it was fun to bless him with a special gift this year. Friends and family who came for his birthday dinner on Thursday, also blessed him with "Wii gifts," so he has a good start of games to get him going. The whole family has been having fun with it so far and it does seem more active than the other systems we have had. Saturday night he had six of his buddies spend the night. They played Wii (projected onto a sheet on the wall), made pizzas, watched Wall-E and consumed a ton of food! It was fun seeing how much they are all growing up. I know that by this time next year Josh will be well on his way to catching me in height... I can't believe they grow so quickly!
