We have recently been blessed in many ways! One of our recent blessings was in receiving four large buckets of apples (organic, of course) from Omar and Dee. We spent several hours working and now have 30 quarts of homemade applesauce canned. We LOVE free food! All the kids got involved in helping. I don't have a photo of Josh running the peeler --he did it earlier, before Levi figured out he could do it! Not pictured: Dad peeling hundreds of apples...
Each year I enjoy taking apple pictures in the beginning of Fall. In the summer, I look forward to the work of getting the apples made into applesauce, apple crisp or apple pies!
