Reality Check

First of all, I should mention that Levi has been healthy now for over a week. :) We are being very careful not to contaminate his food (for example he has a separate jelly now that I don't let anyone's knife get into after dipping into butter) and things like that. He started supplements as prescribed by the Integrative Medicine Doctor that we saw Feb 13th. One is a Pro-biotic to help decrease inflammation in his intestinal tract, one is an enzyme to improve digestion (Dr thinkds he could have a type of reflux) and one is a natural histamine blocker. They are all natural and are mixed into his food. We had blood work done on Monday to test for a panel of 85 possible food sensitivities, things that could be making him sick in a delayed manner. We also mailed away for a very expensive stool sample which we will hear about in another week. Next Thursday we go to Children's Hospital to meet with someone in the Pediatric Gastroenterology Department (as referred by Levi's Pediatric Allergist). So that is the update on Levi. Thank you for your prayers!

Today has been a bit rough on the technology front. At the moment I am officially locked out of my email account. So if you try to reach me that way you might reach for the telephone instead. I am hoping to get it cleared up next week. It is kind of unnerving because without the account I have no ones email addresses. Today it asked for my password which i had changed and then forgotten. There is no live help that I can get ahold of and it locked me out for trying too many times. So. I can be reached by leaving a message here or by telephone.

On the more encouraging side of things, I was able to make almost 30 meals today at a freezer meal cooking day with some homeschooling friends. It was a lot of work and I am looking forward to some new meals in the next several weeks (many of them are recipes we haven't tried before). Kaleb was kind enough to hold down the fort with the young 'uns while I prepared recipe after recipe at my friends house. I did have Gabe with me and he was a good sport about the whole thing, took his naps well and didn't slow me down too much! I am hoping the next sunny day I will actually get out and enjoy it.
